He stated he is not sure the residential use
of the first floor on Front Street is a good use of the space in the commercial district.
Councilmember Leh stated he is comfortable with the project and the first floor residential
with adding the finding from the Mayor to keep the commercial on the first floor of the rest
of the project.
Councilmember Fahey stated she supports the resolution as live/work spaces are
becoming more of the norm and it will activate this area.
Mayor Stolzmann stated she could support the project with the addition of the finding in
the resolution and with knowing the design of the residential units includes a first floor
business use.
Mayor Stolzmann closed the public hearing.
VOTE: Motion passed by unanimous roll call vote.
EQUITY, DIVERSITY, INCLUSION TASK FORCE UPDATE
Anthony Graves and Emily Shamsid-been gave an update on the work of the Equity,
Diversity, and Inclusion Task Force (EDI).
