The primary, east, fagade faces east to McKinley Avenue. The exterior walls are stucco, which appears to be original based on historic photos and descriptions in the 1948 Boulder County Assessors Card. The general floor plan is long and rectangular, with a low-pitched side gabled roof. It is a single -story, with wide massing, exceedingly common characteristics for the style. Another common characteristic of the style, is minimal exterior ornamentation, as these many Minimal Traditional Ranch homes were designed for efficiency rather than decorative grandeur. While some changes have been made to the exterior over the years, the overall feel and design has remained.
