LCicy�l <br />Louisville <br />City Manager's Office <br />o The Ride and Drive will be co -hosted with Superior and Lafayette and supported by <br />Denver Metro Clean Cities (DMCC). Will incorporate eBikes from local cycleries. <br />• DropCountr App Launches <br />o City of Louisville customers can access their personal water use anytime, anywhere <br />using the Dropcountr app. Dropcountr is a free tool that allows you to track your water <br />usage, access conservation tips, and receive utility alerts. Learn how to register at <br />LouisviIleCO.gov/BeWaterWise. <br />Disposable Bag Tax Implementation — LouisviIleCO.gov/BagTax <br />• Residential Bring Your Bag campaign/outreach has begun with events throughout August and <br />September. Free bag pick-up stations are located at City Hall, Library, Museum, and Recreation <br />and Senior Center. <br />• Council has provided amendment recommendations and moved the language through to <br />second reading. This includes: <br />o Credit provided for retailers captured under the state's "store" definition. This ensures <br />all retailers in Louisville will still collect. <br />o Removed exemption for farmers' markets for the bag tax but maintains the temporary <br />vendor exception. <br />o Allows for quarterly remittance to match the state's legislation. <br />Building Code Update <br />• City Council will have first reading on Tuesday, September 215c <br />• The update has gone to Building Code of Appeals, LSAB, and the Planning Commission. <br />Municipal Operations <br />• Staff is currently moving forward with lighting and HVAC improvements with additional <br />considerations in progress. <br />• Evaluation of the Library garage EV charging station and additional public charging at facilities <br />is currently being worked on. <br />Energy Future Collaboration (EFC) <br />• A new RES plan will be filed late September (tentative) that will outline new renewable <br />programming. <br />• Staff is working with Xcel to develop a programming plan for potential incentive stacking for <br />residential and commercial energy efficiency rebates. <br />Grants <br />o Current: <br />■ Boulder County Sustainability Matching Grant <br />
