Approval of August 24 as a Special Meeting and cancelation of the August 10 <br />Study Session <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />None. <br />None. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />RESOLUTION NO. 55, SERIES 2021 — A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUSINESS <br />ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT WITH UMOJA BIOPHARMA, INC. FOR AN ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT PROJECT IN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />Director Pierce stated Umoja Biopharma is based out of Seattle, WA but is experiencing <br />significant growth and is looking for new spaced for manufacturing and drug product <br />research. The company leverages the power of gene therapy to target and attack cancer. <br />Umoja Biopharma is considering other locations in Colorado. <br />The company is interested in leasing 725 Tech Court. They estimate employing 100 <br />workers within 5 years with an average job salary of $160,000. Significant tenant <br />improvements will be required in addition to capital and equipment over the next 5 years. <br />The project will bring high quality development in an existing building and represents job <br />diversity in a growing industry. <br />
