He stated this development will bring diversity to
businesses in the community and has elements that will lead to a large effort toward a
sustainable environment. He encouraged Council to approve the application.
Allison Torbick stated this site has been dormant, closed off and a sore thumb to the
public for over a decade. She noted the applicant has listened to the community on the
open space concerns and it preserves the western views. She urged Council to support
the GDP.
John Hollingsworth, 518 W South Boulder Rd., stated he supports the application,
especially the improvement of Campus Drive. He urged Council to approve the
application.
Tess Weltzin, student at Fairview High School, asked Council to oppose the plan. This
development will harm our water, air and overall health and we need to be accountable
for all future generations. She asked Council to put the environment first.
Christopher Wheeler, 525 La Farge, stated the reason Louisville is a desirable place to
live is the acres of open space that encircle the city. He asked Council to make a
statement to the citizens of Louisville and of Colorado that open space matters.
Stephanie Rowe gave a presentation sharing pictures of the wildlife on the site. She
stated she feels the vegetation and wildlife are stakeholders. This is an eco-system and
once you eradicate one species there they all go.
Maxine Most, stated that when Centennial Valley was developed the City got a large
amount of land in exchange. She asked if more industrial space is really needed. She
asked if the roadwork is going to be paid for by the developers. She asked Council to
represent the community.
Leonard, stated his support for the application. The revised plan fully complies with the
City's Comp Plan for density, building heights and physical goals. He stated the City
needs to evolve and encouraged a yes vote.
Tyler Brent, Eisenhower Drive stated he supports the application. The developers are
focused on sustainability and connectivity. It's good to make sure it's developed in a way
that makes sense and is sustainable.
