LL lty��f LOCAL LICENSING AUTHORITY MEMO LouiSViIIe AGENDA ITEM 6-A COLORADO -SINCE 1.878 SUBJECT: RENEWAL APPLICATION — PAU HANA BREWERY LLC DBA RED GARDEN RESTAURANT & BREWERY — BREW PUB LIQUOR LICENSE — 1700 DOGWOOD STREET DATE: SEPTEMBER 27, 2021 PRESENTED BY: GENNY KLINE, AUTHORITY SECRETARY SUMMARY: The licensee, Redgarden Restaurant & Brewery, has submitted an application for renewal of its Brew Pub Liquor License at 1700 Dogwood Street. The lease for the premises is current and on file. There were no employees who attended liquor training in the past year. There were no incidents over the past year that required the filing of a police report. As of September 16, 2021 the City of Louisville sales tax account is not current. The account was closed by the operating manager, Greg Larson, at the end of 2020 when he closed the restaurant. At that time he indicated to the Finance Department that he wasn't sure if the closure was temporary or permanent. He said he would renew the sales tax license in 2021 if he reopened the restaurant. The restaurant is open and the State of Colorado sales tax license is active and expires on 12/31/2021. Mr. Larson has not renewed his City of Louisville Sales Tax License and no tax returns have been remitted as of Wednesday, September 22, 2021. RECOMMENDATION: The Authority may approve the renewal application for Brew Pub Liquor License for, Redgarden Restaurant & Brewery, 1700 Dogwood Street. Alternatively, the Authority may set a hearing on this renewal application. The hearing may be held after proper notice is completed. LOCAL LICENSING AUTHORITY
