Historic Preservation Commission
Meeting Minutes
25 January 2021
Dunlap suggested having a discussion about the meaning of Extraordinary Circumstances.
Zuccaro stated that the resolution used to just say "extraordinary circumstances" and they
added some language but that there were also issues with being too specific. He added
"extraordinary circumstances" that to the work plan list.
Dunlap asked about having a liaison to the Historical Commission.
Keller and Burg volunteered.
Haley suggested nominating both commissioners and they could alternate attending meetings.
Zuccaro stated that the City had been working with PaleoWest on 100 surveys starting in 2019
and there would be 100 new property surveys ready this year that would round out or complete
surveys of Old Town and Downtown.
Leah Angstman said that she was the liaison from the Historical Commission. She suggested
checking out what the Museum has been putting up online. She shared that the Historical
Commission met every other month.
Haley stated that Ms. Angstman could make any statements she wanted to share during the
public comment period in the future, as well.
DISCUSSION ITEMS FOR FEBRUARY 22ND, 2021 & FUTURE MEETINGS
• Demolition Language Update
• HSA Requirement Update
Adjourn
Keller motioned to adjourn and Klemme seconded.
