A few boards have final decision making <br />authority on a limited number of topics; most boards offer advice and recommendations to the City Council as the <br />Council is setting policy. Each board was created by Resolution with a defined role. <br />Board of Adjustment Library Board of Trustees Recreation Advisory Board <br />Building Code Board of Appeals Local Licensing Authority Revitalization Commission <br />Cultural Council Open Space Advisory Board Sustainability Advisory Board <br />Historic Preservation Commission Parks & Public Landscaping Board Youth Advisory Board <br />Historical Commission Planning Commission <br />Some recommendations to Council regarding boards could include: <br />- EDI Training for all board/commission members <br />- Review the resolution defining the role of each board to see where EDI tasks or focus could be added <br />- Creation of a standing EDI board <br />The City is currently accepting applications for 2022 vacancies on boards and commissions. If you are interested <br />please visit www.LouisvilleCO.gov/boards for an application and more information. <br />Application deadline is November 8. You must be a Louisville resident to serve on boards and commissions. <br />
