RESOLUTION NO. 72 <br />SERIES 2021 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION GRANT FOR <br />THE LESLIE HOUSE LOCATED AT 501 JEFFERSON AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Historic Preservation <br />Commission (HPC) an application requesting a preservation and restoration grant for the <br />Leslie House, a historic residential structure located at 501 Jefferson Avenue, on property <br />legally described as the Lots 15-17, Block 3, Acme Place, City of Louisville, State of <br />Colorado; and <br />WHEREAS, the Staff and the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission have <br />reviewed the application and found it to be in compliance with Chapter 3.20.605.D and <br />Section 15.36.120 of the Louisville Municipal Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission has held a properly <br />noticed public hearing on the proposed grant application and has recommended the request be <br />forwarded to the Louisville City Council with a recommendation of approval; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered the proposed grant application and <br />the Commission's recommendation and report, and has held a properly noticed public <br />hearing on the application; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds the proposed improvements will assist in the <br />preservation of the Leslie House, a local historic landmark. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the Preservation and Restoration <br />Grant application for work at the Leslie House located 501 Jefferson Avenue, subject to the <br />following: <br />1. Approved preservation items are those in the proposed scope of work <br />presented to City Council totaling $14,872. <br />2.
