Revitalization Commission <br />Minutes <br />October 13, 2021 <br />Page 2of6 <br />Business Matters of Commission: <br />• Resolution 21-09: Amending the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2021 for <br />the Urban Revitalization District <br />Director Pierce noted that the LRC held a Public Hearing on the budget <br />amendment on September 8, 2021. The additional commitments made by the <br />Commission in 2021 have been incorporated into the budget amendment. The <br />amendment was approved by City Council on September 21, 2021. The <br />Resolution before the LRC today would give final approval to the amendment. <br />Commissioner Smith made a motion to approve Resolution 21-09, <br />Commissioner Gambale seconded. <br />Roll call vote: <br />Commissioner Smith - yes <br />Commissioner Gambale - yes <br />Chair Adler - yes <br />Commissioner Gorsevski - yes <br />Commissioner Williams — yes <br />Motion passes <br />• Public Hearing: 2022 LRC Proposed Budget <br />Chair Adler opened the Public Hearing. <br />Director Pierce provided the staff presentation. Based on the budget schedule, <br />staff is seeking input to advance the proposed budget for City Council <br />consideration on November 1. If approved, the 2022 budget would return for <br />final LRC approval on November 10. <br />Director Pierce reviewed the projected revenues and expenditures outlined on <br />page 17 of the packet and also highlighted the new project expenditures <br />anticipated for 2022, which include a Fagade Improvement Program <br />($250,000), District Wayfinding Signage Program ($200,000), Urban Renewal <br />Marketing Strategy ($75,000), and Bike Network and Amenities ($55,000). <br />It was also noted that the budget does not reflect any City of Louisville capital <br />projects. And Director Pierce said that there was no 2022 funding for public <br />Agenda Packet P. 3 <br />
