An appointed Board or <br />Commission member may be removed during a term of office for cause as defined in the <br />City Charter, Resolution No. 16 Series 2009, and Resolution No. 59, Series 2016. Reasons <br />for rejection or removal from office include, without limitation, where a background <br />investigation reveals an arrest, conviction, or pending charges for a criminal offense <br />(excluding minor traffic violations). <br />• All information on this application is public record and may be available for public review. <br />It is the policy of the City Council to make appointments to the citizen boards, <br />commissions, committees, and task forces based on the needs of the City as well as the <br />interests and qualifications of each applicant without discrimination based on race, color, <br />national origin or ancestry, gender, religious convictions, disability, age, or sexual <br />orientation. <br />12 <br />
