04y`of 2022 Board of Adjustment <br />Louisville Supplemental Questions <br />COLORADO -SINCE 1878 <br />Applicant Name: Scott Berger <br />The Board of Adjustment (BOA) is a quasi-judicial board that hears and decides requests for <br />variances from the City's zoning ordinances. <br />The BOA meets the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm, as needed. <br />Terms are three years. <br />You must be a resident of Louisville to serve. <br />I. Briefly explain your interest on serving on the BOA <br />My wife and I have lived in Louisville since 1994. We raised our family here. With an eye <br />toward retirement we downsized and built our current home in "Old Town". I enjoy the <br />architectural design and building process. I also understand the need to maintain the <br />unique character of our city. This is an area of personal interest and allows me an <br />opportunity to contribute to my community. <br />2. What is your knowledge of or experience with the variance process? <br />My wife and I went through the process in 2019. We were successful in being granted a <br />variance to add a roof structure over a backyard patio. <br />
