Cityof 2022 Board of Adjustment <br />LouiSV111e Supplemental Questions <br />COLORADO -SINCE 1878 <br />Applicant Name: Karen Cooper <br />The Board of Adjustment (BOA) is a quasi-judicial board that hears and decides requests for <br />variances from the City's zoning ordinances. <br />The BOA meets the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm, as needed. <br />Terms are three years. <br />You must be a resident of Louisville to serve. <br />I. Briefly explain your interest on serving on the BOA <br />I have really enjoy serving on this committee which allows for an outside community <br />opinion to oversee city planning decisions regarding variance allowances for personal <br />property. I would like to continue on with this committtee as a woman, mother, and <br />resident. This is an excellent opportunity and a great fit for me to give back to the <br />community in such a valuable way. <br />2. What is your knowledge of or experience with the variance process? <br />I have been trained by the city attorney and the city planning department to consider the <br />citeria and grant a vaiance only if all of the applicable variance criteria have been <br />satisfied. I am an objective listener and pay attention to details in order to confirm or <br />deny the citeria of all variance matters. <br />
