LLouisville <br />ity,�f <br />PARKS, RECREATION & OPEN SPACE <br />Memorandum <br />To: Parks and Public Landscaping Advisory Board (PPLAB) <br />From: Nathan Mosley, Director of Parks, Recreation and Open Space <br />Date: December 2, 2022 <br />Re: 2022 Capital Improvement Fund Update and Discussion <br />Purpose: <br />The purpose of this agenda item is to provide an update to the board on funds allocated through the 2022 <br />Capital Improvement Project (CIP) fund for parks projects and to discuss potential options for utilizing <br />those funds to reinvest in our Parks system. <br />History: <br />As part of the 2022 budget there have been number of projects identified as well as some additional funds <br />earmarked but not dedicated to projects. The 2022-2026 CIP has been included as an attachment. <br />Next Steps: <br />PPLAB members should review this information and be prepared to discuss potential projects for money <br />allocated to Park Landscape Renovations ($50,000), Park Improvements ($300,000) and Median <br />Improvements ($300,000). <br />5 <br />
