The minimum number of required plumbing fixtures shall be <br />as specified in the City of Louisville's Building Code, Appendix <br />Chapter 29. <br /> <br />Table 403.1 is deleted in its entirety. <br /> <br /> Section 404 is amended to read as follows: <br /> 404. Toilet rooms and bathing facilities containing fixtures that <br />are required to be accessible shall be as specified in the City of <br />Louisville's Building Code, Chapter 11 and CABO/ANSI A117.1. <br /> <br />Section 405.3.1 is amended so that the second sentence of such <br />section reads as follows: "There shall be at least 24 inches <br />clearance in front of each lavatory, water closet or bidet to any <br />wall, fixture or door in any position of swing." <br /> <br />Section 409.3 is amended by addition of a new final sentence to <br />read as follows: "The discharge shall be through an approved air <br />gap in accordance with section 802.2.1." <br /> <br />Table 605.4 is amended by deletion of references to PB pipe and <br />tubing. <br /> <br />Table 605.5 is amended by deletion reference to PEX, PEX AL <br />PEX, and PB pipe and tubing. <br /> <br />Section 605.18 is deleted in its entirety. <br /> <br />Section 608.1 is amended by addition of a new final sentence to <br />read as follows: "All commercial installations shall have a <br />reduced pressure principle backflow preventer as the minimum <br />type of backflow prevention device." <br /> <br /> Section 610.1 is amended by addition of a new number 5 to read <br /> as follows: <br /> 5. When the disinfection of potable water lines involves the use <br />of 50 pounds or more of chlorine, the contractor shall notify the <br />City Public Works Department and receive approval prior to <br />starting the disinfection process. <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br /> <br />
