LCicy�l <br />Louisville <br />City Manager's Office <br />Disposable Bag Tax Implementation — LouisviIleCO.gov/BagTax <br />• Throughout December, ads regarding the upcoming bag tax are running in the Daily Camera <br />and Colorado Hometown Weekly as a reminder to residents and businesses on the January 1 <br />effect date. <br />• Businesses can fill out the Retailer Correction Form to inform the City if they believe they will <br />not be impacted. <br />• Businesses can also fill out the Retailer Materials Request Form for professionally printed <br />signage and materials to inform customers of the upcoming tax. Businesses that will be <br />required to collect and remit that tax are required by ordinance to provide signage in the store. <br />Building Code Update <br />• Staff is working on next steps for Phase 2 of the building code update as directed by City <br />Council. This includes hiring a consultant to assist with technical analysis and community <br />engagement. <br />• Sign up to be informed of updates at LouisvilleCO.gov/EnergVCodeUpdate. <br />Municipal Operations <br />• Staff will be continuing efficiency upgrades into 2022 and completing the upgrade of the <br />Library EV charging upgrade in winter 21/22. <br />Energy Future Collaboration (EFC) <br />• The Q4 EFC meeting took place in late November. Topics of discussion were EFC Work Plan, <br />commercial and residential programming, and the development of a Community EV Roadmap, <br />facilitated by Brendle Group. <br />• The first workshop with regional partners and stakeholder groups will take place in January. <br />This is a six month process with completion in May 2022.
