A Petrun grandson, John (1915-1992), wrote his memories of Louisville in a 1989 letter on file at <br />the Louisville Historical Museum. John grew up in Denver and would visit his grandparents Paul <br />and Mary Petrun during the summers. He wrote of his uncle, Paul, Jr.: "Uncle Paul would come <br />home for lunch from the store and he would take me with him while he made his deliveries. <br />That was quite a thrill riding in that Model T truck. Sometimes, he would let me steer it, sitting <br />on his lap. Then of course, one night a week Grandma and I would go to the Rex Theatre and <br />watch a Western movie and eat popcorn.
