RESOLUTION NO.90 <br />SERIES 2021 <br />A RESOLUTION REFERRING AN ORDINANCE TO A VOTE OF THE REGISTERED <br />ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE AT A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE <br />HELD APRIL 19, 2022 <br />WHEREAS, on September 21, 2021, the Louisville City Council passed and adopted on <br />second and final reading Ordinance No. 1811, Series, 2021, An Ordinance Approving the First <br />Amendment to ConocoPhillips Campus General Development Plan (Redtail Ridge Master Plan); and <br />WHEREAS, a referendum petition protesting against the effect of Ordinance No. 1811 was <br />timely filed, and the City Clerk issued a Final Statement of Petition Sufficiency on December 7, <br />2021; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to C.R.S. § 31-11-105(3), the City Council has reconsidered <br />Ordinance No. 1811 and has determined to refer the same to a vote of the City's registered electors <br />at a special election to be held on April 19, 2022. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />1. Ordinance No. 1811, Series 2021, is hereby submitted to a vote of the City's <br />registered electors at a special election to be held on April 19, 2022. As required by Section 7-4(a) <br />of the City of Louisville Home Rule Charter, such election shall be held as a mail ballot election <br />pursuant to the Colorado Municipal Election Code of 1965. <br />2. Pursuant to Section 74(c), the City Clerk shall hold at least one (1) public hearing <br />prior to setting the ballot title for the referred ordinance, and shall take into consideration any <br />comments received at the public hearing in setting the ballot title. <br />3. The City Council may submit additional ballot questions or other referred measures <br />to appear on the ballot of the April 19, 2022.2022 special municipal election by the adoption of an <br />appropriate resolution or ordinance as required by law. <br />4.
