Caleb Dickinson <br />Councilmember Deborah Fahey <br />Councilmember Chris Leh <br />Councilmember Maxine Most <br />Staff Present: Jeff Durbin, City Manager <br />Meredyth Muth, City Clerk <br />Mayor Stolzmann noted these will be regular study sessions to keep the Council <br />updated on the fire recovery. The Council will not take action on any items at these <br />study sessions. <br />City Manager Durbin gave an update on fire recovery. <br />• Debris removal is still the biggest topic of concern for most people. No permits <br />for demolition or debris removal will be allowed until all items are removed from <br />the right-of-way. <br />• Staff is working to track smoke damaged properties. <br />• Staff is working with DOLA to help fund a recovery manager position and funding <br />for planning initiatives for reconstruction. <br />• Damage assessment of City -owned property is ongoing. <br />• The library and recreation center are now open again. <br />• National Guard demobilized yesterday, access the burn area will still be <br />controlled until at least the end of January. <br />• We are monitoring the Disaster Assistance Center too decide when staff is no <br />longer needed there. <br />The City is also dealing with staff members testing positive for COVID which is affecting <br />some staff levels <br />City of Louisville <br />City Council 749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027 <br />303.335.4536 (phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.LouisvilleCO.gov <br />
