City Council <br />Study Session Summary <br />January 17, 2021 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Later this week staff will begin giving out permits for those not joining in the <br />coordinated phase 3 debris removal. <br />Planning is working on identifying code issues and getting more information on <br />what the costs are for code compliance for the rebuilds. <br />Recently the Sustainability Advisory Board put out a flyer on City letterhead with <br />information that has not yet been reviewed by City staff; it may cause more <br />confusion on the cost of rebuilding and code compliance. <br />Mayor Stolzmann asked to make sure the clean up at the golf club house done with <br />proper hazard mitigation. <br />Mayor Pro Tern Maloney asked if additional staff will be needed to install the fencing. <br />City Manager Durbin stated if staff needs to be pulled from other areas we can do that <br />to get it done as soon as possible. <br />Councilmember Fahey stated people want to know if they can change their mind on <br />joining the debris removal after the January 26 deadline. <br />Councilmember Leh stated social media is full of questions and concerns about air <br />quality and the County's messaging is not good.
