It is a complicated process.
• There are still scheduling issues of allowing folks time to sift on their properties
before the tackifier is applied. Some incorrect draft information went out that it
was to be applied in the next few days but the final product has not yet been
decided on. Once it is it will be about another week before it will be applied.
• Keeping data on smoke and wind damaged properties; so far know of over 500
structures in the full burn area.
• Chief Hayes will be next year's president of the Colorado Police Chief's
Association.
• Utility crews are still testing water in the areas without water service, it is taking
longer than we hoped.
• Implementing new public health emergency policies for COVID for City staff; City
had over 37 positive cases in employees in the past four weeks.
• Stories on multiple news channels last night regarding the work are water crews
did in the fire.
• Rob Zuccaro is phasing back in; new senior planner also started yesterday.
• Reaching out to HOAs for some conversations about what help the city might be
able to offer.
City of Louisville
City Council 749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027
303.335.4536 (phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.LouisvilleCO.gov
