Caleb Dickinson <br />Councilmember Deb Fahey <br />Councilmember Chris Leh <br />Councilmember Maxine Most <br />Staff Present: Jeff Durbin, City Manager <br />Meredyth Muth, City Clerk <br />City Manager Durbin gave the following update: <br />• Black History Month starts today and we have activities planned across various <br />City departments. <br />• We have restarted the PROST director recruitment process. <br />• Parks is continuing the evaluation of hazards and trail issues. You can expect to <br />see new closures of trails for a short periods of time. The Davidson Mesa <br />resurfacing project that was put on hold briefly is now starting up again and will <br />require some closures. <br />• Staff is making it a priority to get the dog off leash area reopened as soon as <br />possible. <br />• Coal Creek Trail near the US 36 underpass will be closed for about a week for <br />the removal of hazard trees. <br />• Harper Lake Trailhead continues to be closed due to the road closures, the lake <br />trail is open. <br />• Congressman Neguse was in town yesterday; he met with a couple of business <br />owners to learn about the challenges they are facing. <br />• Demolition permits for those opting out of the County process are beginning to <br />be released. We are working in coordination with other jurisdictions to <br />standardize the requirements; one significant challenge is soil testing. <br />• Public Works is in the final stages of getting water back on to the last few homes <br />pending testing results.
