We
don't yet know the details of the prioritization process for neighborhoods, how
many crews they will have, or the exact time frame. We are also still waiting on
FEMA approval for funding. There is no start date set.
• Working through an IGA with Longmont for our recovery manager. That IGA also
allows us to tap into other Longmont resources. Currently, the Longmont
procurement manger is helping review our policies. Longmont is covering the
first $20,000 of staff costs.
• Golf course clubhouse is open; the course and driving range are closed. Staff is
working to replace the mat in the driving range but need warmer weather for
that. Tree mitigation is ongoing on holes 1-5; holes 6-18 will reopen when snow
allows.
• Hydromulching is starting this week, crews will be spraying properties that were
lost. This work is focused work on the ash footprint and is meant to contain
hazardous materials. It should be a 2-3 week process.
• Continuing work with our insurance company on what is covered.
• Purple Air monitors have been received today; they will be installed in City
buildings. A couple dozen were also purchased by private property owners with
the City discount.
City of Louisville
City Council 749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027
303.335.4536 (phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.LouisvilleCO.gov
