� itiyf <br />L6 Lcouisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />City Council <br />Study Session Summary <br />February 10, 2022 <br />Electronic Meeting <br />9:30 AM <br />Mayor Stolzmann called the meeting to order at 9:30 am. <br />City Council Present: Mayor Ashley Stolzmann <br />Mayor Pro Tern Dennis Maloney <br />Councilmember Kyle Brown <br />Councilmember J. Caleb Dickinson <br />Councilmember Deb Fahey <br />Councilmember Chris Leh <br />Councilmember Maxine Most <br />Staff Present: Jeff Durbin, City Manager <br />Meredyth Muth, City Clerk <br />City Manager Durbin gave an update on fire recovery. <br />FEMA has approved public assistance for categories C-G which includes <br />infrastructure repair and replacement. <br />Today FEMA approved the Personal Property Debris Removal application to <br />cover for 75% of the cost of the debris removal. This approval does not include <br />our request to help cover the costs of foundation removal which is being <br />considered as part of an economic adversity argument. Staff has submitted <br />additional info on that request. <br />Boulder County Commissioners is having a meeting this afternoon at 3 pm to <br />review a recommendation the debris removal contract. This recommendation is <br />a part of the formal bidding process and review of the applications by staff. If <br />agreed to today it will be followed by a 10-day period in which complaints will be <br />taken and for staff can negotiate the details of the the contract. <br />Councilmember Leh asked if waiting to hear about funding for foundation removal could <br />hold up the removal timeline. City Manager Durbin stated we don't believe it will but we <br />will continue to press them on this decision.
