Lc�tyoJ <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO -SINCE 1878 <br />Economic Vitality Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Friday, December 17, 2021 <br />Regular Electronic Meeting <br />Call to Order: Chair Dickinson, called the electronic meeting to order at 1:32 <br />PM. <br />II. Roll Call: The following members of the City Council were present: <br />Councilmember Dickinson, Councilmember Fahey, and Councilmember Most. <br />Also present were Economic Vitality Director Megan Pierce, Economic Vitality <br />Specialist Austin Brown, Interim City Manager Megan Davis, and future City <br />Manager Jeff Durbin. Three members of the public were present. <br />III. Approval of Agenda: Councilmember Fahey made a motion to approve the <br />agenda as amended. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Most. <br />Motion passed. <br />IV. Approval of Meeting Minutes: Councilmember Most made a motion to <br />approve the meeting minutes of November 18, 2021, including the amendment <br />recommended by staff. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Fahey. <br />Motion passed. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: Public comment from Mark <br />Oberholzer, Vice Chair of the Downtown Business Association and co-owner of <br />Tilt Pinball. Mr. Oberholzer asked whether the Business Assistance Program <br />(BAP) vacancy incentive bonus would be discussed during today's meeting as <br />part of Item VI I. Director Pierce confirmed that this issue is not part of Item VI <br />and will be brought forward as an ordinance change with City Council hearings <br />on December 21 and January 4, with public comment during the second <br />reading on January 4, 2022. <br />VI. Discussion/Direction- Economic Vitality Strategic Plan and 2022 <br />Initiatives: Director Pierce gave an overview of the Economic Vitality Strategic <br />Plan and 2022 initiatives, which will be included in Council's update on January <br />18, 2022. Staff and the Committee discussed each item, including clarifications <br />and details of the actions. EVC was in support of staff's revisions to the <br />strategic plan as presented in the packet.
