LLCityor <br />Louisville <br />City Manager's Office <br />• The voter -approved disposable bag tax has been in effect since January 1, 2022. Residents <br />should still anticipate paying $0.25 per disposable bag used at retailers, however residents can <br />bring their own bag and never pay the tax. Residents can continue to pick up free reusable <br />"Louisville Bring Your Bag" tote bags at City Hall, 749 Main Street. <br />• The City has been providing free reusable bags to those who have been impacted by the <br />Marshall Fire at the Disaster Assistance Fire, programming and services provided at the <br />Recreation Center, through local businesses and donation sites, and at City Hall. <br />• Businesses can fill out the Retailer Correction Form to inform the City if they believe they will <br />not be impacted at LouisviIleCO.gov/BagTaxforBusiness. Businesses can also fill out the Retailer <br />Materials Request Form for professionally printed signage and materials to inform customers <br />of the upcoming tax. Businesses that will be required to collect and remit that tax are required <br />by ordinance to provide signage in the store. <br />• LSAB members are currently conducting outreach with businesses to ensure compliance with <br />tax collection. Additional outreach may be requested as the first remittance deadline <br />approaches in April. <br />Building Code Update <br />• Please see agenda item 9 <br />Municipal Operations <br />• The Library charging station has been upgraded and is online. <br />• Staff is continuing to complete efficiency upgrades into 2022. <br />Energy Future Collaboration (EFC) <br />• The EFC has been put on -hold due to staff capacity and immediate needs related to the <br />Marshall Fire.
