The conference had an attendance of about 140, and I was able to participate in sessions on
such topics as museum visitor policies, disaster preparedness for museums, how to increase the diversity
of museum visitors, and how to update a museum's logo and the look of its publications and other printed
materials from a design perspective.

I attended the April Volunteer Group meeting of the Association of Northern Front Range Museums at the
Colorado Historical Society. The other officers of ANFRM and I distributed allotments of the newly
designed and printed ANFRM directory to our members.

Training for Museum volunteers who would like to be tour guides for the Tomeo House will take place at 9
AM on Saturday, June 20. Please contact me if you are interested in attending.

The Museum will be closed on Wednesday, July 1 so that I may participate in the evaluation of
candidates for the library director position, and on Saturday, July 4 due to it being a holiday.

Historical Museum Correspondence & News Coveraqe

The Summer 2009 issue of Boulder Magazine features an article about the Historical Museum and
downtown Louisville.
