<br /> <br /> <br />SKATEBOARD CAMPS <br /> <br />We have revamped our <br />skateboard camps <br />and have a new instructor, <br />camps are for children ages 6-11 and will <br />(beginners from 8:30-10:00 <br />AM; intermediates from 10:00-11:30 AM). will be <br />five camps throughout the summer: June 8-11,June 22- <br />camps each <br />cost $45 for residents; $55 for non-residents. <br />Participants must have a skateboard, helmet, and knee <br /> <br /> <br />and elbow pads. To register, or for <br />more information, go to www.1ouis- <br />villerecreation.com, or contact Peggy <br />Jones at peggyj@louisvilleco.gov or <br />call 303.335,4920. <br />OnJune 6th, BC Surf & Sport <br />will host a skateboard/BBQ event <br />at our skatepark, so check our web <br />site for information on this and more <br />upcoming events and clinics! <br /> <br /> <br />YOUTH ADVISORY BOARD SEEKING NEW MEMBERS <br /> <br />Do you want to represent the youth of Louisville <br />to the City Council? Apply to be on the Youth <br />Advisory Board. Work on various projects that are com- <br />munity related, provide a voice for youth, learn about local <br />difference! Applications are avail- <br />able at www.1ouisvilleco.gov and are due by September 1, <br />2009.
