2022 applications are due on March 1ST at 5pm. March LCC meeting will assign art grant <br />applications to be evaluated, usually one or two per LCC member based on total number <br />received. April LCC meeting will review evaluations and award grants. <br />Erica said that applications for 2022 is slow, but like most things expects a last-minute rush. She <br />has sent out a email blast to the LCC coordinator artist list, some 1800 contacts. It has also been <br />posted to the larger Boulder County Arts Association (BCAA) list. <br />Leah asked who the 2021 applicant who used the grant incorrectly? <br />ACTION: Erica didn't recall and was away from office/home. She will review using admin login. <br />Erica reminded members that they should avoid conflicts of interest in the application process. <br />Declare any family members, spouse or friends if they are applicants. <br />Mark said the management of the grants wasn't this chaotic before COVID, especially for <br />performance art; Leah added that during the 2020/2021 period we'd have three city staff <br />coordinators and lots of rescheduling due to mask restrictions. <br />XIV. Spring Programming Update <br />Leah asked Erica about an existing reservation by the LCC for Sunday April 10T" reserved 12-5:30pm. <br />Leah has been in touch with Becky Shilden(?) via the Sustainability board one woman show on climate <br />change using all -recyclable materials. Wondered if we could move/change to accommodate. <br />Leah asked for Volunteers for the 3/26 and 3/30 events? <br />ACTION: ALL volunteer to manage events. <br />a. Action Item: Subcommittee formation for additional programming for 2022 <br />Leah said she would like to create a subcommittee for 2022 programing, Leah would lead the <br />subcommittee. Lisa, JR, Grace and Beth agreed to join. <br />Leah noted with the mask mandate ending it will become much easier to find performers. <br />
