III <br />SPECIAL EVENTS LIQUOR LICENSE <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING - JANUARY 3, <br />1984 <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />ORDINANCE #814 - MAJOR <br />FUND - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />12/20/83: <br /> <br />Page -5- <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the letter re- <br />questing. annexation and a map depicting <br />the location. <br /> <br />councilman Fauson moved, Mayor Meier seconded <br />that the Faber annexation request be accepted <br />and referred to the Planning Commission for <br />further review and recommendation. <br /> <br />Inquired how many acres are being requested <br />in this annexation. <br />Director Rupp advised approximately 5 acres <br />and is just west of Continental View Drive. <br /> <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the pay estimate <br />and recommendation from the engineers for <br />payment. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Cussen <br />seconded that Pay Estimate #9 to Western <br />Empire Constructors, Inc. in the amount of <br />$96,828.00 be approved. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the application <br />and request that a public hearing be set. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Cussen <br />seconded that the American Legion Post III <br />Special Events Liquor License for January <br />21, 1984 and February II, 1984 be accepted <br />and a public hearing be set for January 3, <br />1984. Question called for. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />THOROUGHFARE <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the ordinance; <br />Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only <br />on second reading - public hearing and certi- <br />fied proper publication. <br />Mayor Meier opened the public hearing and <br />Attorney Rautenstraus certified proper pub- <br />lication of the public hearing notices. <br />Staff presentation - none. <br />Any public comments for or against Ordinance <br />#814 - None. <br />Staff summary - none. <br />
