Parking Spaces at Louisville
Liquors

Mayor Meier

_~CCEPTANCE OF COUNCIL COMMENTS

ADJOURNMENT

9/7/83

Page -5-

Fererra asked if there were 2 parking spaces
at this location or one.
Administrator Wurl advised one and it had
been designated, but has possibly worn off.

Commented there has been some discussion going
on relative to road construction, whether it
is better to use asphalt or concrete and it
seems that in the Boulder County area they
are starting to use concrete. He felt con-
crete would be more expensive initially, but
may be worth it in a long term sense.
Director Kasch remarked concrete is a better
surface than asphalt is from a long term stand-
point. If an expressway is being built where
you have either all your utilities or cuts
that aren't going to be hampered with you
would have to bore underneath the road.
Concrete is coming in more competitive recently
than asphalt is. Felt that expressways
would be more effective with concrete, but
city streets, where curb cuts and other re-
pairs have to be made - asphalt would be better.

Councilman Fauson moved, Mayor Meier seconded
that the council comments be accepted and
placed on file. Question called for. All
in favor. Motion carried.

Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Cussen
seconded that the meeting be adjourned.
Question called for. All in favor. Motion
carried. Meeting adjourned at 8:15 P.M.
