<br />~INSKY CONSTRUCTION <br />PAY ESTIMATE #1 - JENKINS <br />SEWER <br /> <br />PAYMENT APPROVED <br /> <br />BLACK DIAMOND SALOON - LIQUOR <br />LICENSE RENEWAL <br /> <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br />Mary Lou Shaefer, 1194 <br />Franklin Ave. <br /> <br />Councilman Leary <br /> <br />6/7/83 <br /> <br />Page -5- <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the pay esti- <br />mate as well as a recommendation from <br />Rocky Mountain Consultants and staff for <br />payment. <br /> <br />Councilman Ferrera moved, Councilman Fauson <br />seconded that pay estimate #1 to Jicinsky <br />Construction in the amount of $6,684.30 be <br />paid. Question called for. All in favor. <br />Motion carried lmanimously. <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the application <br />for renewal and an incident report from the <br />Police Dept. <br />Attorney Rautenstraus advised that the appli- <br />cation was in order. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Fauson <br />seconded that the Black Diamond Liquor License <br />be renewed. Question called for. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mrs. Shaefer stated that she represented <br />Boulder County Family Day Care Association <br />and most specifically the 22 licensed pro- <br />viders in Louisville. This is licensed homes <br />not centers. Was not aware of the wording <br />of the City's ordinance concerning child car~; <br />was requesting that Council consider making <br />the City's ordinances agree with the Rules <br />and Regulations concerning family day care <br />homes as defined by the Colorado Dept. of <br />Social Services. She provided the City Clerk <br />with a copy of the above rules and regulations <br />and wished to propose the following be adopte~ <br />in the City's ordinance: <br />That child care would be allowed in the City <br />of Louisville when and if in compliance with <br />the minimum rules and regulations for Day <br />Care Homes as defined by the Colorado Dept. <br />of Social Services. <br />Mrs. Sahefer also stated that the rules and <br />regulations were v;orked on by the Colorado <br />Commission of children and their families <br />for l~ years to make certain they would be <br />the best for child care in a private home. <br /> <br />Discussion by council of the maximun number <br />of children allowed by the State versus those <br />specified in our ordinances, location of the <br />residences, space requirements, etc. <br /> <br />Recommended that the City conform with the <br />number that the State allows and then create <br />a Special Review Use to go beyond that number.. <br />
