In the <br />Hillsborough West Park - earthwork, site <br />work, irrigation, planting and lawn work, <br />some concrete work. <br />Keith Helart Park - Site improvements, irri- <br />gation, plantings, lawn work, concrete work, <br />wooden shelter, and a concrete pad for basket- <br />ball. <br /> <br />BID AWARDED <br /> <br />Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Cussen <br />seconded that the bid be awarded to SaBelle's <br />Construction Co. in the amount of $120,731.00 <br />for Hillsborough West Park and Keith Helart <br />Park. Question called for. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />KOSHER BURRITO - SIGN <br />REQUEST <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of a letter from <br />the owner of the Kosher Burrito, George <br />Goldberg, requesting a time extension of <br />one year regarding the Sign Performance <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />Souncilman Fauson <br /> <br />Requested Mr. Goldberg's letter be submitted <br />to the Board of Adjustments and Appeals _ <br />felt this would. be the proper procedure. <br /> <br />Attorney Rautenstraus advised that the original <br />request had been before the Board of Adjust- <br />ments and Appeals, after the Performance <br />Agreement had been signed and did receive <br />approval for the sign. Further advised that <br />the one-year time frame had been set by <br />Council and the applicant. Therefore the <br />extension of time would require Council's <br />approval. <br /> <br />Wished to confirm this request would apply <br />to the sign ordinance passed by Council some- <br />time ago. Rautenstraus advised that it was. <br />Director Rupp recommended that a time exten- <br />sion of six months be given rather than a <br />full year. <br />Administrator Wurl inquired if the other <br />problem of the loud music had been resolved. <br />Director Rupp and Attorney Rautenstraus stated <br />they had received no further complaints. <br /> <br />Mayor Meier <br />
