MOTION TO DENY REQUEST WITHDRAWN REQUEST TABLED ~PPOINTMENT TO LOUISVILLE LBRARY BOARD TABLED AUDIENCE COMMENTS CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT ORDINANCE #786 - WARD RE- DISTRICTING PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED AND PUBLIC HEARING SET Councilman Leary 3/15/83 Page -3- felt that Hr. Trousil would certainly allow Louisville's personnel to inspect his business and property. Discussion by council that Mr. Trousil enter into a written contract stating council's concerns with strong enforcement avenues and approval of the Fire Marshall for the Louisville Fire Protection District. Planning Dept. to work with Mr. Trousil on the written contract. Councilman CUSSEm withdrew his motion. Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Cussen seconded that the request be tabled until Mr. Trousil and the Planning Dept. work out a written contract on the request. Question called for. 5 Ayes - 2 Nays. Councilmen Cummings and Leary opposing. Motion carried 5-2. Councilmembers had a copy of 11s. McKee's resignation, and letters of interest from Ruth Pendergrast and William Van Orman, as well as recommendation from the Library Board. Mayor Meier moved, Councilman Leary seconded the appointment to the Louisville Library Board be tabled since there was no one present. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. None. Councilmembers had a copy of the ordinance. Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only on first reading. The request was for publi- cation and council may set a public hearing if they so desire. Councilwoman Horris moved, Councilman Cussen secoTllmed that Ordinance #786 - Ward Redistric- ting be published and a public hearing set for April 19 , 1983. Requested a ward map be published. All members concurred. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously.
