Council Comments

ADOPTION

ORDINANCE #784 - PUBLIC
NOTICES

Mayor Meier

PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED

RESOLUTION #4 - WESTFIELD
SUBDIVISION - FINAL PLAT &
c.U.D.

2/15/83

Page -11-

causes problems with underground plumbing.
As the ground swells it causes plastic pipe
to crush, if blockage occurs and a :totar
has to be used it could cut a hole in the pipe.
Should this occur beneath a concrete floor
it would be difficult to repair; therefore
cast iron piping is required by this section.
Aother change was made regarding building
drains to five feet outside the building wall.
This was done to accomodate a backhoe in
case of repair.
Anyone in favor of the ordinance - none.
Anyone in opposition - none.
Mayor Meier commented as long as he had been
on council no one has ever spoke in favor
or in opposition to any of the Uniform Codes.
Mayor Meier closed the public hearing.

Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Cummings
seconded that Ordinance #783 - Uniform Plumb-
ing Code 1982 be adopted.
