He has not had the opportunity to review the revisions and discuss <br />them with the vendor. He requested the IGA be continued to the March 3, 2009 <br />City Council meeting. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to continue the Intergovernmental Agreement with <br />Boulder County to the March 3, 2009 City Council meeting, seconded by Mayor <br />Pro Tem Marsella. All in favor. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION/DIRECTION/ACTION - LIBRARY OPEN HOUSE DURING <br />NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK, APRIL 12-18 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />City Manager Fleming explained April 12-18 is National Library Week. A <br />committee is being formed to plan for the activities to recognize and celebrate <br />National Library Week. Additionally, the City is anticipating the approval of the <br />Intergovernmental Agreement with the Town of Superior for Library services. <br /> <br />Interim Library Director Schumm explained the library is in the process of forming <br />a committee to plan the event. Some of the ideas include children's crafts; library <br />tours; guests lectures for adults and cookies and punch. She explained National <br />Library Week is celebrated in the Library across the country. This years' theme <br />is "Discover How Worlds Connect @ Your Library". The objective for the <br />celebration of Library Week is to connect with citizens of Louisville and Superior <br />who do not generally visit the library. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENT <br /> <br />Councilor Sackett reported on receiving positive feed back on the Louisville <br />Public Library. <br /> <br />Councilor Muckle noted April 12 is Easter Sunday. Interim Library Director <br />Schumm stated no activities will be planned for Easter Sunday. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk suggested the library consider carrying tax forms or providing <br />assistance to residents and library customers on how to obtain them. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Attorney Light reported the North Metro Fire District lawsuit was dismissed. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />
