<br />~GULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />DECEMBER 21, 1982 <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in regular session in the <br />Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville,. Colorado. Mayor Norbert Meier <br />called the meeting to order at 7:32 P.M. M.S.T. Wurl, City Administrator <br />Curt Rautenstraus, City Attorney <br />William Hesson, City Treasurer <br />John Rupp, Director of Community Development <br />August Hioco, Director of Community Services <br />Rod Leesman, Director of Public Safety <br />Ken Huson, Asst. Engineer <br />Sharon Caranci, Chief Accountant <br />Cleo Mudrock, City Clerk <br /> <br />Councilwoman Morris requested an addition <br />to the minutes - Jeff Rice, reporter from <br />the Longmont Times Call requested his op- <br />position to the Executive Session .be placed <br />in the minutes and it was not. Mr. Rice <br />also stated a few Statutes to support himself. <br />Mayor and Council approved the minutes of <br />the regular meeting of December 7, 1982 <br />with this addition. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera <br />seconded that the items enclosed be accepted <br />and brought up under the proper head of <br />business. Question called for. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved, Councilwoman Morris <br />seconded that Norman Lawrence be appointed <br />to the Board of Adjustments and Appeals, since <br />he was the only person who had submitted a <br />letter of interest. <br /> <br />Commented that he would vote for Mr. Laurence, <br />but felt our legal notice in the advertisement <br />was not appropriate. It stated that the in- <br />dividual must have current knowledge of con- <br />struction practices and principles and must <br />be familiar with Louisville Building Codes. <br />His perception of the Hearings Board is a <br />very objective group which hears the argu- <br />ments of both sides and essentially makes <br />a decision.
