9/21/82

Page -2-

Administrator Wurl to contact interested
people for Council's consideration at their
next meeting.

AUDIENCE COMMENTS

CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT
ORDINANCE #772 - BOULDER
COUNTY ANNEXATION - PUBLIC
HEARING

None

Attorney Rautenstraus read the ordinance
by title only on second reading - public
hearing and certified proper publication.

Mayor Meier opened the public hearing and
Attorney Rautenstraus advised notice of
public hearings published in the Louisville
Times September 1, and September 8, 1982.
Director of Community Development Rupp
showed a slide presentation of the area
depicting location. He advised the zoning
as recommEmded by the staff is to be divided
into agric:ultural and office - with the
front 2 ac:res facing South Boulder Road
be zoned office, and the remaining 4 acres
to the north in agricultural zoning. Each
councilmember had a copy of the annexation
agreement. There is a provision in the
annexation agreement which indicates that the
annexation fees would be waived upon the
development of the site, if the site is
held under the ownership of the County and
the use of the ground was for County purposes.
Upon sale of the property by the County, all
fees and conditions of annexation would have
to be met with the City. The County had been
provided vvith a copy of the annexation agree-
ment but had not been signed as of this even-
ing.

Councilman Leary

Inquired if anyone had submitted a proposal
for the development of the property for
a branch office for the County.
Rupp advised that the owner of the adjacent
property had contacted him indicating an
interest in the property; and the adjacent
owner stated they would like to work out
something with the County as far as the
Christopher Village project is concerned
because they could possibly offer them an
immediate type building in exchange for a
land type arrangement. However, there is
nothing firm on this to date. This was
the only proposal that Rupp was familiar with.
