City Council Minutes

CITY ADMINISTRATOR
REPORT, CONTINUED

COUNCIL COMMENTS
Morris:

CUSSEN:

LEARY:

August 3, 1982

Page 11

Wurl added he had distributed copies of the
proposed agenda of the Consortium of Cities meeting
to be held tomorrow night.

Also an update from Storer Cable TV of concerns
Council was having due to their operations.

Motion by Morris and seconded by Cussen that
the City Administrator's Reprot be accepted and
placed on file. All in favor. Motion carried.

It appears that funding was the question re-
garding the Nuclear War Education Committee, not
against support of the booklet. Would you support
a motion just supporting the booklet with no
financial aid? Yes. Motion by Morris: City of
Louisville supports the Nuclear War Education
Booklet with no financial involvement. Seconded
by Leary. Roll call vote: Meier yes, Leary yes,
Cussen yes, Morris yes, Ferrera no, Fauson no.
Passed 4-2 vote.

Quite a while ago talking with Curt and Rupp,
an ordinance regarding the office zoning and
tightening up the office zoning, getting more
specific on definitions, has anything been done
about that? You said it didn't need to be done
in the Comp Plan but done ~y,Ordinance. Neither
Rautenstraus nor Rupp could recall.

Morris gave Wurl some reports regarding Marshall
landfill, and he said he would take them to our
water people for evaluation, etc. Wurl: Has met
with Josie Heath and updated her on what our
position is, she indicated she would talk to
the Boulder County Health Department.

Requested information on the 911 Emergency number.
There was a recent occasion when a party received
only a busy signal when call ing 911, and he wants
to know what happened and why. Chief Leesman
to look into this.

Where are we on the issuance of the bid process
on the sewer plant expansion? Bids are called for
August 16th. How many units will be looking
to reti re tha t debt issue? Wurl: I'd have to
look that up for you...Homart1s indication is
they will provide the funds to do that project.

A procedural point.. .has to do with our function-
ing with our attorney's concerns me somewhat that
we donlt have an unofficial process which would
not be burdensome to be sure that in many cases
we have interest or significance, we are able to
