All <br />in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilman Leary moved, Councilwoman Morris <br />seconded section 17.64.060 (a) shall be <br />amended to read "shall pay a fee." The <br />initial fee shall be $3,000.00 for the year <br />1982, and thereafter shall be adjusted <br />effectively January 1st of each subsequent <br />year by a. factor equal to the Consumer <br />Price Index, and the annual fee shall <br />be $1,000.00 for the year 1982 and there- <br />after shall be adjusted effective January <br />1st of each subsequent year by a factor <br />equal to the Consumer Price Index. Amend <br />(c) to read the same as (a) with the <br />$3,000.00 fee being the same in 1982 but <br />from that point on being adjusted by the <br />Consumer Price Index and amend (d) The <br />fee for 1982 shall be $1,000.00 and sub- <br />sequent years shall be adjusted by a <br />factor equal to the Consumer Price Index. <br />These annual adjustments shall not preclude <br />the City from making additional adjustments <br />to such fees if they are deemed necessary. <br /> <br />Question called for on the motion.
