NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />ORDINANCE No. 1826, SERIES 2022 <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado, to be held on April 5, 2022 <br />at the hour of 6:00 p.m.. at Louisville City Hall, 749 Main Street, <br />Louisville, Colorado 80027, the City Counciilp <br />fin l will hold a Public Hear- <br />Ing on the passage and adog. on <br />ISYILLE d ANNI ORDINANCE <br />E <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 15.05 OF TTHH <br />TO REMOVE THE REQUIREMENT FOR FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEMS <br />FROM THE INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL CODE. <br />Published in the Daily Camera on March 20, 2022 with full ordi- <br />nance. <br />Full copies available in the City Clerk's Office, 749 Main Street, <br />Louisville CO 80027. <br />ORDINANCE NO.1926 <br />SERIES 2022 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15.05 OF THE LOUISVILLE MU- <br />NICIPAL CODE TO REMOVE THE REp UIREMENT FOR FIRE SPRINKLER <br />SYSTEMS FROM THE INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL CODE <br />WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 1704, Series 2018, the City Council <br />adopted by reference, and with certain amendments, the 2018 In- <br />temational Residential Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds the requirement for dwelling <br />unit fire sprinkler systems should be removed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CRY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO : <br />Section 1. Chapter 15.05 of the Louisville Municipal Code Is <br />hereby amended by the addition of a new Section 15.05.195 to read <br />as follows: <br />Chapter 15.05 <br />INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL CODE <br />Sec. 15.05.195. Section P2904 deleted <br />Section P2904 of the International Residential Code ("Dwelling unit <br />Fire Sprinkler Systems") is hereby deleted. <br />Section 2. If any portion of this ordinance is held to be invalid for <br />any, reason, such decisions shall not affect the validity of the re - <br />me ning portions of this ordinance. The City Council hereby de- <br />clares that it would have passed this ordinance and each part here- <br />of Irrespective of the fact that anyone part be declared invalid. <br />Section 3. The repeal or modification of any provision of the Munici- <br />eMingal Code <br />ulsh,fthea ter, modlj, or cLouisville <br />hange nthis <br />wholeordinance <br />or In partshall <br />any penalty, <br />forfeiture, or liability, either civil or criminal, which shall have been <br />incurred under such provision, and each provision shall be treated <br />and held as still remaining In force for the purpose of sustaining <br />any and all proper actions, suits, proceedings, and pprosecutions for <br />the enforcement of the penalty, forfeiture or liablilty, as well as for <br />the purpose of sustaining any judgment, riecree, or order which can <br />or may be rendered entered, or made In such actions, suits, pro- <br />ceedings, or prosecutions. <br />Section 4.
