LOUISVILLE SUSTAINABILITY ADVISORY BOARD <br />2022 WORK PLAN <br />Vision: Moving Louisville towards a more sustainable future. <br />Mission: Promoting sustainability through energy efficiency, resource conservation, and localization to <br />better the environment, social well-being, and economic vitality of the City of Louisville. <br />2022 PRIORITY ITEMS: <br />1. Create a plan to improve residential energy efficiency and transition single-family homes and <br />multi -family dwelling units away from fossil fuel consumption. <br />2. Create a plan to improve commercial energy efficiency and transition commercial buildings <br />away from fossil fuel consumption. <br />3. Create a plan that reduces the community's reliance on fossil fuels for transportation. <br />4. Support the development of a sustainability budget for 2023 and beyond. <br />5. Work in collaboration with the Town of Superior and City of Lafayette to enhance <br />programming, information share, and grow regional sustainability. <br />6. Continue to develop and support community -wide awareness of climate change and <br />solutions. <br />7.
