6 CityOf <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO -SINCE 1878 <br />Economic Vitality Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Friday, April 22, 2022 <br />Rescheduled Regular Meeting <br />Call to Order: Chair Dickinson, called the hybrid meeting to order at 1:32 PM <br />for in -person attendees, as well as those participating virtually. <br />II. Roll Call: The following members of the City Council were present: Chair <br />Dickinson, Councilmember Fahey, and Councilmember Most. Also present <br />were City Manager Jeff Durbin, Economic Vitality Director Megan Pierce, and <br />Economic Vitality Specialist Austin Brown. Two members of the public were <br />present. <br />III. Approval of Agenda: Councilmember Fahey made a motion to approve the <br />agenda as presented. The motion was seconded by Chair Dickinson. Motion <br />passed. <br />IV. Approval of Meeting Minutes: Councilmember Fahey made a motion to <br />approve the meeting minutes of March 25, 2022. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilmember Most. Motion passed. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: Public Comment from Mike <br />Kranzdorf: Mr. Kranzdorf started his comments with disappointment that there <br />will not be additional discussion regarding the Comprehensive Plan and zoning <br />updates. Mr. Kranzdorf continued his comments concerning net zero energy <br />building code requirements and affordable housing. <br />VI. Discussion/Direction- Annual Business Retention Report: Director Pierce <br />gave an overview of the Annual Business Retention Report which included a <br />summary of Economic Vitality's business retention efforts in 2021, as well as a <br />general update of the business community. <br />Councilmember Most questioned whether or not informal conversations with <br />businesses are tracked. Director Pierce confirmed that staff does track outreach <br />as well as individual contacts. Councilmember Fahey questioned whether other <br />communities in the area are also tracking this outreach information.
