Economic Vitality Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 22, 2022 <br />Page 3of3 <br />Public comment from Mike Kranzdorf: Mr. Kranzdorf asked about the deadline <br />to submit a Fagade Improvement Program application for review at the May <br />Louisville Revitalization Commission meeting. Director Pierce responded that <br />an application would need to be submitted by Wednesday, April 27. <br />Director Pierce concluded her comments with an update on the business <br />satisfaction survey which will open on May 2. <br />X. Recent Articles: Councilmembers discussed the Business Forum which was <br />held on Thursday, April 21. Director Pierce confirmed that a Business Forum <br />summary will be an item of discussion at the next EVC meeting and that two <br />forums a year would be attainable. <br />Public comment from Mike Kranzdorf: Mr. Kranzdorf commented that this year's <br />business forum was not as valuable for the business community as previous <br />forums had been. He continued that feedback from the business community <br />may be helpful in planning the next forum. <br />City Manager Jeff Durbin introduced the Rainbows Over Boulder program, in <br />which local businesses fly rainbow flags. Chair Dickinson commented that he <br />would be in support of this program and with the City helping to facilitate the <br />program. Mr. Durbin confirmed that the City will begin due diligence on the <br />program. <br />XI. Next Meeting: The next regular meeting will be May 20, 2022 @ 1:30 PM and <br />is anticipated to include a discussion on the business forum outcomes as well <br />as a business satisfaction survey update. <br />XII.
