Approval of 2022 Meeting Dates Et Location: The Commission approved <br />the 2022 meeting dates and location, vote 5 to 0 <br />VIII. Distribution of 2022 Open Government Et Ethics Pamphlet: All LHC <br />members reviewed the Open Government Et Ethics Pamphlet attached to <br />the meeting packet. <br />IX. Updates on Museum - Bridget and Sharon: <br />A. Updates on the plans for community engagement regarding the <br />Museum expansion that was to be funded by the City and <br />Louisville History Foundation in 2022 (now put on hold due to <br />the Marshall Fire): Sharon informed the Commission that the plans <br />for community engagement for the Museum expansion was put on <br />hold for the time being. <br />B. Budget updates: There are no new capital projects for the Museum, <br />just the carryover of the budget from last year for improvements on <br />the campus. <br />C. Museum buildings and campus: Currently working with an architect <br />to get design plans for the new porches and ballisters on the <br />Museum campus buildings. The Museum plans to promote the <br />availability and usage of the Courtyard. Also, the Trott -Downer <br />Cabins were just moved to their new location at Miners Field. <br />X. Report from Sharon Nemechek, Director of Library Et Museum Services: <br />In addition to Sharon's earlier report, she noted they are still moving <br />forward with the Equity, Diversity, Et Inclusion project. <br />XI. Report from Bridget Bacon, Museum Services Supervisor: <br />A. Museum Services Supervisor's written report: In addition to the <br />written report, Bridget wanted to acknowledge the Superior <br />Historical Museum being lost during the Marshall Fire. Also, the <br />Museum staff is working on a list of historical building that were lost <br />during the fire and plans to highlight the losses on social media and <br />in the Historian. <br />B. Updates on Museum operations Et projects, including community <br />recovery programs: The Museum staff are holding community <br />recovery programs, such as workshops with conservators for fire <br />victims to bring in items salvaged from their homes, conducting <br />recorded audio interviews with residents on their experiences with <br />the fire, and offering scanning of residents' photos.
