Roll Call <br />Board Members Present: David Blankinship, Laura Scott Denton, Charles Danforth, <br />Peter Gowen, Helen Moshak, Thomas Neville, Susan McEachern, Jessamine Fitzpatrick <br />Board Members Absent: none <br />Staff Members Present: Ember Brignull <br />City Council Member Present: Deb Fahey <br />3. Approval of Agenda <br />Peter moved to approve the agenda as written. Susan seconded the motion. The <br />motion passed unanimously. <br />4. Approval of Previous Meeting's Minutes <br />Susan observed two typos in the minutes: it should be "red -bellied dace" and "Pella <br />Crossing." Peter moved to approve the March 2022 OSAB meeting minutes with those <br />two spelling corrections. Thomas seconded the motion. The motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />5. Staff Updates — <br />See updates on page 15-18 of the April 2022 OSAB Meeting packet. <br />Ember added further updates and explanations. She reported that there is an official <br />offer to a new ranger for the vacant position. The start date should be in 2-4 weeks. <br />She is excited about the new seasonal hires as well. <br />Pre -work for the 1041" Street Trail project will begin shortly. They will be layering in <br />some of the trail elements with the road work, including concrete work. <br />Ember told the board a little more about the removal of the encampment identified on the <br />Olson Open Space. Further details are in the packet. <br />Request -for -volunteer emails are going out to a list that includes people who signed up <br />after the Marshall Fire. Volunteer clean-up events are filling up within a few hours. Staff <br />are planning one more debris removal event and a system -wide "spruce up" event.
