SUBJECT: GUN VIOLENCE PREVENTION ORDINANCES, SECOND READING <br />DATE: JUNE 7, 2022 PAGE 4 OF 4 <br />Louisville in ways calculated to reduce threats to residents in public places and the risk <br />of impulsive suicide or crime posed by easy -to -obtain firearms. <br />These ordinances have been drafted to reflect those provisions currently being <br />considered by the Boulder City Council, in a joint effort to regulate consistently. The <br />Boulder City Council adopted similar ordinances on first reading on May 24, 2022 and is <br />also scheduled to consider the ordinances on second reading on June 7, 2022. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Adopt ordinances on second reading. <br />ATTACHMENT(S): <br />1.
