City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />March 15, 2022 <br />Page 5of10 <br />Councilmember Dickinson stated he supports the extension and hopes the project comes <br />to be a reality on Main Street. <br />Mayor Stolzmann closed the public hearing. <br />MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Maloney moved to approve Resolution No. 17, seconded by <br />Councilmember Dickinson. <br />Councilmember Maloney stated he supports the project for downtown and hopes the <br />extension allows it to happen. <br />Councilmember Brown stated he reviewed the original application and he feels it is <br />consistent with the PUD criteria and he supports the application. <br />Mayor Stolzmann stated she still feels the design criteria are not met but as it was <br />originally approved by Council she feels the extension is appropriate. <br />VOTE: Motion passed by unanimous voice vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 18, SERIES 2022 — A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2022 <br />BUDGET BY AMENDING APPROPRIATIONS IN THE GENERAL FUND, OPEN <br />SPACE & PARKS FUND, CEMETERY FUND, HISTORIC PRESERVATION FUND, <br />RECREATION FUND, CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND, WATER UTILITY FUND, <br />WASTEWATER UTILITY FUND, STORM WATER UTILITY FUND, SOLID WASTE & <br />RECYCLING FUND, AND GOLF COURSE FUND FOR ADDITIONAL <br />APPROPRIATIONS WITHIN SUCH FUNDS AND ADJUSTING BUDGETED REVENUE <br />IN THE WATER UTILITY FUND, WASTEWATER UTILITY FUND, STORMWATER <br />UTILITY FUND, AND SOLID WASTE & RECYCLING FUND — PUBLIC HEARING <br />(advertised Daily Camera 3/13/2022) <br />Mayor Stolzmann introduced the item and asked for disclosures, seeing none she opened <br />the public hearing. <br />Director Watson stated that due to the Marshall Fire, staff expects significant and ongoing <br />amendments to the 2022 budget. This proposed amendment is the first such amendment <br />and contains only the items that are known and are reasonably quantifiable at this point. <br />The amendment approves expenses that have been incurred or were approved to be <br />incurred at this point. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Maloney stated the finance committee has reviewed this amendment in <br />detail. He noted the Committee recommended these budget amendments be handled <br />routinely through the year so funding is being approved as needed. As such there may be <br />many budget amendments throughout the year. <br />
