The sewer rate structure adopted by City Council provides for an <br />increase in the monthly sewer rate of approximately 3.5 percent, or from $8.95 to $9.35 for <br />residential users. The Wastewater Division of the Public Works Department is expanding the <br />industrial pre-treatment budget by increasing the hours (.25 r ram') of the temporary <br />coordinator/inspector to monitor and inspect all industrial users in order for the City to continue <br />to meet State and Federal environmental requirements on wastewater treatment. <br />Debt Service expenditures for 1993 are $297,845 and are funded with sewer assessment fees and 111 <br />sewer tap fees. The 1993 capital outlays of $279,000 in the Sewer Fund include: <br />* Sewer line replacements, $90,000 <br />* Selection of consulting engineer to assist in evaluating the feasibility and , <br />economies of various sludge disposal options, $70,000 <br />* Lab Equipment, including lab centrifuge, amperometric titrator, barscreen, 1 <br />chlorine, aeration pump, $97,000 <br />* Eastside sewer interceptor, $20,000 , <br />Golf Course Fund: , <br />The Coal Creek Golf Course is managed and operated by Recreation Services, Ltd.
