Sewer Fund <br />Charges for Services and ending balances. Interest <br />earnings are budgeted at $181,000 <br />Users Fees - Sewer utility fees for fiscal year 1997. <br />derived from sewer service to <br />residential, commercial, and industrial <br />customer classes. Sewer revenues <br />included in the budget are estimated <br />at a 16.2% increase for customer <br />growth and new development. For <br />1997 each residential sewer unit will <br />pay $12.40 per month. Total sewer <br />user fees (Unclass, Commercial, <br />Residential, and Delinquent User <br />Fees) are projected at $1,447,649. <br />Assessment Fees - Each sewer user <br />within the City of Louisville is <br />assessed a fee of $1.50 per month <br />per unit, for the repayment of bond <br />principal and interest. For fiscal year <br />1997, assessment fees are budgeted <br />at $129,646. <br />Pretreatment Fees - Fees charged <br />to industrial users for their discharge <br />into the City's Treatment Plan. Fees <br />range from $50 to $1,000 a year <br />depending on the industrial class. <br />Total revenue for fiscal year 1997 is <br />estimated at $15,000. <br />Sewer Taps - Sewer tap fees are <br />based on approximately 44 new single <br />family equivalents and new <br />commercial development. Total <br />revenue for fiscal year 1997 is <br />estimated at $257,300. Tap Fees are <br />used to finance capital projects, <br />capital equipment, and debt service <br />payments of the sewer fund. <br />Miscellaneous <br />Interest Earnings - Interest earnings <br />results from deposits of cash. Interest <br />earnings are estimated based on <br />1997 revenues and 1997 beginning <br />65 <br />
